15.11.06 - HWE Install Lochaber College Heating System
110kW Biomass Boiler
Highland Wood Energy recently installed a Fröling 110kW wood chip boiler at Lochaber College. The system has been installed as part of the College extension project and the new wood chip boiler will heat both the existing building and new extension. It is estimated that the wood chip heating system will save the College, previously heated by oil, up to £9,000 per annum in heating costs and will greatly reduce CO2 emissions.
